Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan
Our SWPPP is highly detailed and in strict compliance with the General
Permit issued by the State of California, State Water Resources
Control Board.
Items covered in the SWPPP include:
- In depth Vicinity Maps including geographic features, construction
site perimeter, and general topography.
- Pollutant Source Identification and BMP selection
- Inventory of Materials and Activities that May Pollute Storm
Water
- Existing (Pre-Construction) Control Measures such as drainage
facilities
- Nature of Fill Material and Existing Data Describing the Soil
- Soil Stabilization
- Sediment Control
- Tracking Control BMP checklist
- Wind Erosion Control
- Non-store Water Control
- Waste Management and Materials Pollution Control
Our worksheets are comprehensible and extensive references are
included.
Water Pollution Control Program
The WPCP is a document that must assess the site conditions, sources
of sediment and other pollutants in storm water and non-storm water
discharges, identify the BMPs that will best suit the construction
activities and meet Caltrans and the Clean Water Act pollution control
objectives.
Global Environmental Network, Inc. has completed hundreds of WPCP.
We are well versed in all aspects of the WPCP including:
- Water Pollution Control Drawings: Our WPCD illustrates the locations,
applications, and deployment of the BMPs.
- Soil Stabilization Practices: clearly and briefly describes
the soil-disturbing activities, such as clearing and grubbing,
grading, excavation, trenching, etc.
- Sediment Control Practices: The appropriate BMPs to be used
are thoroughly checked, with sufficient reasons as to why certain
BMPs should not be used.
- Waste Management and Materials Pollution Control BMPs
- Potential Pollutant Sources
- Soil Stabilization (Erosion Control) and Sediment Control
Our worksheets are comprehensible and extensive references are
included.
Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP)
The Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP) you will receive is extensive
and highly detailed. A Project WQMP is a plan for managing the quality
of stormwater or urban runoff that flows from a developed site after
construction is completed and the facilities or structures are occupied
and/or operational. A Project WQMP describes the Best Management
Practices (BMPs) that will be implemented and maintained throughout
the life of a project and is used by property owners, facility operators,
tenants, facility employees, maintenance contractors, etc. to prevent
and minimize water pollution that can be caused by stormwater or
urban runoff. The focus of a WQMP is to prevent and manage the quality
of stormwater and urban runoff after construction is completed.
Excavation and Transportation Plans
We can prepare or propose Excavation and Transportation Plans for
various sites. We can also prepare proposals that discuss remedies
for cleanup of:
- radiologically contaminated soils
- minor areas of concern such as recharge basins, ecologically
sensitive areas, and an ash pit
- final removal actions such as capping of landfills, excavation
of disposal pits and a groundwater treatment system, and planned
removal actions such as remediation of a medical isotope facility.
Injury Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP)
In California every employer has a legal obligation to provide and
maintain a safe and healthful workplace for employees, according
to the California Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1973. As
of 1991, a written, effective Injury and Illness Prevention (IIP),
Program is required for every California employer.
Global Environmental Network, Inc. will develop an effective Program
that helps assure the safety and health of employees while on the
job. Our experts are trained to write an effective plan that will
provide better workplace protection for employees, and to reduce
losses resulting from accidents and injuries.
Health and Safety Plan for Lead, Asbestos,
PHC, etc.
The Health and Safety Plan you will receive is extensive and highly
detailed. A thorough, professional analysis of the data by our Certified
Industrial Hygienist (CIH) will give you a firm understanding of
the work conditions and plan of action you will take in order to
protect your employees and subcontractors from hazards related to
the contracted work.
Items covered in the Health and Safety Plan include:
- Initial Exposure Assessment based on SI Reports, specs, and
other pertinent document including historical information of the
site
- Objective Data Relating to Potential Exposure
- Initial, Standard, and Stop work conditions
- Decontamination Procedures
