Description
This course meets DHS requirements for Supervisor/Project Monitor training. In this five day course students will learn how lead abatement is performed in a variety of settings. Students will also learn how to select appropriate abatement actions for varying field conditions.
Students will participate in extensive hands-on workshops where they will set up containments appropriate for industrial and residential use. In these sessions, students will utilize negative air machines, HEPA-filtered vacuums, and specialized depainting/descaling tools; students take air samples and perform a specialized cleaning pass/fail clearance test.
Certificate of Completion: A DHS Course Completion Form and a certificate documenting Lead-Related Construction Supervisor/Project Monitor training is awarded to each student who attends the course. Full attendance is mandatory.
Course Hours: This five day course starts at 8:00 am and runs until 4:30 pm.
