Incorporated in 1992, GENI began as a health and safety training organization. We wanted to make sure that workers were safe and that managers knew how to recognize when health and environmental hazards existed. One of GENI’s cofounder, a former firefighter and disabled Vietnam War veteran, recognized the need for hands-on, practical, and customized health and safety training after developing and refining health and safety training materials and courses for firefighters in Los Angeles and Orange County, California. And so, customized and hands-on health and safety training is integral to GENI’s training programs whenever practical. This is particularly relevant to our clients in the heavy construction industry, who share with us our belief that safety does not happen by accident, and that hands-on training is particularly vital to the construction industry market. Our core mission is to make sure that workers return home the same way they arrived to work in- safe!

Old fashion word of mouth advertising gave way to more services, especially in the field of environmental consulting, as clients were asking us, “how, what, when, where, and why” questions regarding environmental planning, laws, regulations, and compliance.

GENI hired experts in the field of environmental consulting in order to fulfill client’s environmental compliance and environmental planning needs.

The Environmental Protection Agency requires that a company that does anything that affects “the natural environment — air, water, and land — upon which life depends,” be subject to federal and state environmental protection laws. Global Environmental Network, Inc., integrated the philosophy of customized environmental planning in order to help companies meet or exceed rigorous state and federal laws that regulate emissions, asbestos, hazardous wastes, discharge of waste, and other items that affect the environment.

Our training services have continued to grow and change as new regulations, such as Crane Operator Certification, took place in the federal and state arena. We are continuously evaluating the services that we provide to make sure that they meet or exceed the most rigorous guidelines available.

Also at the request of clients, Global Environmental Network, Inc. now maintains an inventory supply of products for your construction project needs. We carry a wide variety of traffic control products such as portable changeable message signs, barricades, traffic cones, pavement markers, crash barrels, and more.
